In May 2023, a distinguished delegation from SCIP Plastics comprising Prof. Dr. Mst. Farzana Rahman Zuthi, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, and Prof. Dr. Md. Rafizul Islam embarked on an enlightening journey to Germany. Commencing their residency in the culturally rich city of Weimar, they convened at the esteemed Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, engaging with the local SCIP team under the esteemed leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eckhard Kraft. Amidst a blend of joint excursions, project meetings, and immersive sightseeing, the international guests graciously shared insights from their expertise with German students, particularly focusing on environmental engineering.

The delegation further enriched their knowledge by visiting the Institute for Social-Ecological Research in Frankfurt and exploring firsthand the operational dynamics of waste management at the Erfurt-Schwerborn landfill site. Additionally, they gained invaluable insights into plastic recycling practices during their visit to Plastic Recycling Rissland Kunststoffe Katzhütte. This collaborative exchange of knowledge and experiences proved instrumental in advancing the shared objectives of their project, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.
