The SCIP team visited the small plastic recycling shops in Korbaniganj on 22nd February, 2023. The shop owners described the work process and activities in their shop to the SCIP team. The recycling shop usually collects plastics from recycling waste traders and waste collectors. Then they sort, shred, wash and dry the plastics, and get plastic flakes as an output. Even they make plastic products from virgin plastics. The virgin plastics are generally imported from outside the country.
