The 6th meeting of the Board of Directors was organized by the KUET SCIP team and was held in Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka on February 16, 2025. Project leaders including Prof. Eckhard Kraft (BUW), Prof. Dr. Mst. Farzana Rahman Zuthi (CUET), Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mashud (KUET), and Mr. Abir Ul Jabbar (KCC), along with scientific experts, were present to assess and discuss the project’s progress. Reports from working group leaders, waste lab heads, and awareness center heads were presented and deliberated upon. As a significant outcome of the SCIP Plastics Project, a guidebook on Municipal Plastic Waste Management in Bangladesh was distributed to the Board of Directors.
